Intern - Social Media Contributor

This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship

This is an extremely demanding position with many required social media updates on various daily and weekly deadlines. Most of the work is done away from the ballpark outside of game time. All updates are presented to our fans on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.

On game days at the ballpark the social media contributor may post about pre-game activities and give in game updates.

The Social Media Contributor is required to attend all home games and with permission of management, travel with the team to away games and fulfill their usual game day duties.

In order to complete their duties, the Social Media Contributor must be organized and willing to work on their assigned recurring tasks away from the ballpark almost every day throughout the season. While at a game they must concentrate on their duties. Excellent communication skills are required. The Social Media Contributor will have frequent interaction with the team, volunteers, other interns and the public, and must act professionally at all times.

A strong knowledge of social media postproduction software and a strong knowledge of baseball is required.
