As a Sr. Financial Analyst at DanceOne you will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning and analysis, providing strategic insights, and contributing to the company's financial success. This position requires an analytical thinker with strong financial modeling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
In This Role, You Will:
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
• Drive the development and maintenance of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
• Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and assumptions for forecasting and optimize financial performance
• Manage P&L/cash timing across events portfolio
Financial Modeling:
• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making
• Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of various business strategies
• Provide recommendations based on financial modeling and analysis
• Evaluate the financial implications of business initiatives and investments
Management Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management
• Create executive-level presentations to communicate financial results and trends
• Identify key performance indicators and contribute to the development of performance metrics
• Build dashboards highlighting budget vs. actuals reporting
Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects:
-Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by senior management
• Participate in special projects to support the overall financial objectives of the company
What You Need:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics or a related field; MBA. Master's degree or relevant certifications (CFA, CPA) is a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of business experience as a financial analyst or in an analytics/accounting role
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Google Sheets required
• Experience with financial planning and analysis systems (Planful, Netsuite, TM1/Cognos, SAP, e.g.) a plus
• Working knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy

Typical Work Schedule and Travel:
• This position is hybrid, requiring you to work at our Hollywood, CA office two to three days per week with the remaining days remote.
• Typical business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Some weekend and evening work may be required during peak financial periods.

• Physical requirements include computer screen time, sitting, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
