Producer (6-Month Contract)
Start Date: Flexible
Duties: Oversee the production of 3-5 videos per week
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 Yearly Equivalent DOE
Location: Remote (Can be located anywhere in Europe)

We are a multi-channel digital production company specializing in short-form animated content, with over 10 billion views on YouTube alone. We're seeking a Producer to manage and guide one of our educational channels, focusing on geography, history, and other engaging educational topics. This is a long-term position for a creative, detail-oriented leader who can oversee every stage of video production, develop content strategies, and drive the channel's growth.

Key Responsibilities
Channel Management: Fully guide the channel's production and content strategy, ensuring the videos are high-quality, engaging, and align with the channel's brand.
Production Oversight: Manage the production pipeline for 3-5 long form video essays per week, coordinating with writers, editors, voiceover artists, and other team members to ensure deadlines are met.
Creative Development: Generate ideas for new videos, series, and formats to keep the channel fresh and engaging. Brainstorm topics that align with audience interests and current trends.
Content and Video Review: Review scripts and videos for quality, accuracy, and storytelling to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Thumbnails and Titles: Create attention-grabbing thumbnails and compelling video titles to maximize click-through rates and engagement.
Trend Analysis: Stay on top of trends in educational content, news, geography, and history within the YouTube space to refine the channel's strategy.
Performance Monitoring: Track video performance analytics to identify trends and insights. Use both short-term and long-term performance data to optimize content strategy and ensure continuous channel growth.
Content Optimization: Push the content to an even higher level by exploring new directions for topics, improve production quality, and other creative ideas for optimization

Requirements
Proven experience as a Producer or similar role in digital content, preferably for video essays or documentaries.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with and guide a team of creative professionals.
A deep understanding of YouTube trends, audience engagement strategies, and video production workflows.
Experience with designing thumbnails and crafting effective, engaging titles.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Audition, Premiere, Photoshop) and online video analytics platforms.

Bonus Skills
Background or strong interest in educational topics such as geography and history.
Experience growing and managing a YouTube channel or similar digital platform.
Knowledge of production workflows and processes.
Creative storytelling skills and an eye for what resonates with online audiences.

Working Conditions
Remote work primarily on European time with flexibility in hours.
Structured production environment with clear daily deliverables and expectations.
Opportunity to collaborate with an international team, which may occasionally require work outside traditional 9-5 hours.
This is a contract role focused on producing high volumes of content efficiently and on time.
Potential for a long term arrangement based on the success of the 6-month contract
