THE JOB
Delirio is looking for motivated interns with strong communication skills, superb attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Interns will gain a hands-on understanding of the documentary filmmaking process by collaborating with team members working on all stages of production, from development to post-production. Typical tasks include:
Research for new documentaries;
Editing and logging footage for post-production;
Assisting with the coordination of film shoots
Assisting on set, including handling production equipment;
Reviewing narrative submissions and writing script analysis; and
Occasional administrative support and runs for supplies and equipment.
THE DETAILS
Prerequisites: None. A major related to film, production, and/or entertainment and an interest in documentary content are preferred.
Location: Delirio typically requires interns to work out of our office in Studio City, in Los Angeles. We are currently working with a hybrid remote/in-person schedule.
Schedule: 2 to 4 days per week, typically 10:00am to 6pm; starting in January through the end of May - these dates are flexible.
Car: Preferred but not necessary; mileage will be reimbursed.
College Credit: Required.

Recently, Delirio premiered documentaries Mike Wallace Is Here and Hulu's Ask Dr. Ruth at Sundance, alongside their first scripted feature Honey Boy, which was picked up by Amazon. Honey Boy, starring and written by Shia LaBeouf, won a DGA Award for director Alma Har'el. Delirio's latest releases are They Call Me Magic, a 4 part documentary series which premiered on Apple TV+ and Reggie, an Amazon original documentary about baseball great Reggie Jackson. Delirio's most recent film Will & Harper premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and was released by Netflix in Fall of 2024.
