Our 2023-24 Fall Season Internship Program is an 8-month program crafted to provide college students and recent graduates with a once in a lifetime opportunity within the sports and entertainment industry. As a Game Production Intern, you will assist the Senior Control Room Producer and game presentation team in all facets of game night presentation and production.

What you'll be doing
• Work closely with Senior Control Room Producer to help manage all videoboard and creative items loaded into the control room for gameday show
• Assist Senior Control Room Producer with creative direction and production of videoboard segments
• Assist with media management, creative request tracking, and footage requests
• Create gameday videoboard graphics or video content as needed
• Assist entertainment team managers with social media video creation as needed
• Prep and distribute game day scripts and production notes for control room staff
• Learn and operate control room equipment as needed
• Consistent research and pitching of new and innovative game presentation ideas and technology

What we're looking for
• A student or recent graduate with knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• A student or recent graduate with experience or knowledge of university sports or news control room operations is preferred.
• Prior experience with event planning, event execution, and customer service is preferred.
• We are looking to bring on a currently enrolled student at a college or university, with a Sports Business, Broadcast Journalism, or similar degree.
• This individual should be currently living or have pre-arranged accommodations in or near the Detroit area, has access to reliable transportation, and has the flexibility to work long days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Overall, our Intern should be self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment, and strong work ethic is highly valued.
• Must be available for in-office work and all home games, events, and potential playoffs games.
