We are an enthusiastic team of creatives who create ambitious social media marketing assets around DCP’s tentpoles, including the Billboard Music Awards, American Music Awards, Golden Globes, Academy of Country Music Awards, The Streamy Awards, So You Think You Can Dance, and Dick Clark’s New Year's Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. We handle creative services cross-functionally for integrated marketing, development, PR, and corporate teams, delivering a wide range of compelling content for distribution across all owned, talent, partner, and sponsor social and digital platforms.
The Role:
We are looking for an Art Director based in Los Angeles to oversee the Creative Services team in visual conception, development, and execution across a wide range of media. This role requires hands-on design work, project leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure creative strategies align with brand marketing goals. You will be responsible for supervising projects, tracking deadlines, and managing budgets, all while ensuring creative excellence.
Duties:
• Hands-on design work through all phases of campaigns (mood boards, mocks, final execution)
• Collaborate with designers and editors on project execution
• Develop creative strategies to meet brand marketing goals
• Lead and mentor the Creative Services team, driving innovation and excellence
• Manage project deadlines, staffing, and budgets, and ensure efficient workflows
• Represent the team in meetings, providing updates and collaborating with partners
• Solve creative problems efficiently and effectively
• Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of creativity
Experience and Qualifications:
• 7+ years of experience in design, with a passion for social media and a deep understanding of various platforms
• Experience leading and managing creative teams
• Proven ability to create visually stunning campaigns that resonate with audiences
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Comfortable working non-standard hours (including weekends) when necessary
• Must be a fan of music, fashion, and pop culture
Salary Range:
$135k - $150k, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 100% paid healthcare (medical, dental, and vision), 401(k) with employer match, and paid time off.
