Dick Clark Productions (dcp), the world's largest producer and proprietor of televised live event entertainment programming, is hiring a dynamic and entrepreneurial seller with a proven track record in selling and creating exciting sponsor and partner programs. As the Partnership Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, managing relationships with existing sponsors, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure sponsor deliverables are met with excellence.
In this role, you will support the new dcp Live Events team in driving the creation and sale of bespoke experiential opportunities surrounding dcp’s iconic tentpoles like the American Music Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, the ACM Awards, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, and the Golden Globes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Identify new revenue opportunities (new clients, brand categories, sponsor/partnership packages, events, etc.) and ensure alignment with the broader dcp sales team on larger initiatives
• Proactively generate leads by identifying contact information of key decision-makers and conducting extensive research on potential clients and partners
• Build and maintain relationships with clients including setting up calls, in-person meetings, and after-work networking events
• Initiate and close small, medium, and large packages with and for brands
• Achieve overall revenue goals, including resource allocation to meet quarterly budgets
• Support sponsors on-site
Requirements:
• Minimum 4+ years sales, marketing, and business development experience, focused on sponsor and partner events in the media and/or entertainment sector
• Experience in negotiating and implementing partnerships, selling events, and building client-direct programs
• Proven ability to meet aggressive sales goals
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
Salary Range:
$95k - $115k plus quarterly commission.
