The Job:
The Affiliate & Distribution Team negotiates and manages distribution partnerships to drive revenue growth for the Warner Bros. Discovery portfolio. The department oversees linear and digital distribution, which entails high-level decision making strategies that impact the overall company objectives. The team works closely with many departments across the company to implement affiliate strategies to optimize revenue and marketing support.

Responsibilities

The Daily Responsibilities:
Perform Distribution analysis for National Accounts team. I.e. performing channel line-up analysis

Conduct competitive marketing research by monitoring and tracking brand activity on distributor social/digital platforms and websites. Audit and track organic social media across affiliates. Monitor MVPD/VMVPD UI placement.

Assist in conducting research to update account information one-sheets for US and Canadian distributors.

Assist in creating account presentations as needed.

Assist in creating files and artwork in photoshop to update Discovery networks landing pages on DirecTV’s VOD menu

Perform other project oriented duties as needed and Domestic Distribution team

Assist with client premium fulfillment

The Essentials:
• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment will be required if selected for an internship)
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Graduate student (18 years or older)
• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA
• Must have the legal right to work in the United States

About the Internship Program:
• Our Spring 2023 program is a 12 Week Internship that will run from Monday, February 6th through Friday, April 28th, 2023
• Part time-schedule (16-24 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer or secured remote access provided for the duration of the internship program
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive salary. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.

Interviewing will take place from September through early December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for roles that will be performed in New York City. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD.

Qualifications
