#### Job Description:
The Specialist, International Programming Strategy & Content Planning plays a key role in driving multi-platform audience growth for National Geographic and Disney Branded Television through effective slate management and global content alignment. This highly visible role involves managing regional programming communication, database integrity, and content strategy from greenlight through premiere.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Multiplatform Program Planning:
- Collaborate with creative leads, executive producers, and regional programming heads to align brand priorities.
- Track master delivery schedules and resolve delays.
- Support regional premieres and third-party partnerships.
2. Regional Communication:
- Respond to regional requests for series information and screeners.
- Host monthly meetings with regional teams to address local programming needs.
- Share regional performance data with executive producers and provide regular programming updates.
3. Database Management:
- Serve as the superuser for programming systems.
- Maintain data integrity and troubleshoot regional database issues.
- Coordinate with Enterprise Metadata Services to ensure alignment across platforms.
4. Content Development & Acquisitions:
- Screen programming and provide editorial feedback during development.
- Attend pitch meetings and brainstorm sessions.
- Gather and represent regional feedback during greenlight discussions.
5. Administrative:
- Maintain directories, trackers, and programming materials.
- Organize quarterly editorial updates and ensure smooth onboarding for new employees.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare presentations, and manage electronic distribution lists.
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience in programming strategy or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.
• Comfortable learning new systems and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Streaming experience is strongly desired.
• Prior management experience a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally.
Compensation:
• Salary Range: $67,500 to $90,400 per year.
