About the Role & Team:
The Walt Disney Company's Disney Entertainment (DE) group includes the company's full portfolio of entertainment media and content business globally, including streaming (Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, Star+, and Disney+ Hotstar).
DE's DTC FPA Team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Disney Entertainment - DTC FP&A team. This role will be heavily involved with partnering with our various finance partners to consolidate subscribers, financials, and other key KPIs to convey the story of the overall DE-DTC business.
This role will be expected to work independently with various partners across finance as well as other cross-functional business partners to deliver thoughtful forecasts and variance analyses in their assigned areas. This role requires the SFA to be able to perform a variety of tasks under time pressure and tight deadlines during critical FP&A delivery periods around quarter close reporting and forecasting cycles. A successful candidate will be able to navigate an ever changing, dynamic environment with a positive attitude and seek opportunities to drive efficient processes and challenge the status quo.
What You Will Do:
• Oversee the consolidation of the Disney Entertainment streaming business Long-Range Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Forecasts, and Quarterly Close
• Champion innovation. Proactively identify, recommend, and drive improvements in existing models and processes
• Analyze forecast information to ensure accuracy, identify trends, and develop key storylines
• Contribute to the preparation and analysis of the consolidated Annual Operating Plan and Disney Streaming forecasts, including the accompanying senior management presentations
• Actively work with key stakeholders, operating groups, and finance team members to improve the effectiveness of the financial planning process, assumptions and results
• Organized, self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment with multiple stake-holders
• Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in an ambiguous environment
Required Qualifications & Skills
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Very strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues
• High level of proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to work cross functionally, managing many stakeholders and building relationships throughout the company
• Proactive and creative in approaching problems and presenting financial data
• Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and deal effectively with pressure
Preferred Qualifications
• A good understanding of the entertainment industry and Direct-to-Consumer business models
• Familiarity with working in or with large organizations
• Prior experience with financial systems such as SAP
Education:
• BA/BS (focus on Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field a plus)

The hiring range for this position in New York $108,200 - $132,200 per year and in California is $103,400 to $126,200 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
