Disney Theatrical Group currently seeks an enthusiastic, hard-working Coordinator to support The Lion King General Management team. In this role, the Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative and project support for the GM office, the Production team, and the Creative team on multiple productions of The Lion King.
This individual must ensure an efficient and approachable office atmosphere, manage the constant flow of information and proactively coordinate a demanding work load.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate poise, discretion, sound judgment along with a high-level of maturity.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
• Provide administrative support for The Lion King team (General Management office, the Production team, and the Creative team).
• Coordinate domestic and international travel and generate itineraries for the Lion King team as needed.
• Reconcile production and travel expenses.
• Assist with drafting contracts and other important documents, as well as distribution to production team, legal team, and corporate office.
• Facilitate meetings including communication with participants regarding time, location, attendees, and agenda. Set up conference calls and operate the videoconferencing system when necessary.
• Handle Additional Weekly Compensation payments (AWCs) for all productions of The Lion King
• Organization of digital files.
• Support the cost recovery process with licensee partners.
• Support with event planning and anniversaries.
Required Education
, Experience/Skills/Training:
• Preferably at least 2 years of experience in theatrical production with an interest in producing and/or theatrical management (general management, company management, stage management).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Candidates should enjoy multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
• The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding the nuances of supporting various team members, with strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse styles and shifting priorities.
