Position Title: Post Production Assistant
Location: Glendale, CA (Hybrid, 3 days in the office)
Job Summary:
The Post Production Assistant provides overall assistance to the Post Production Coordinators, Supervisors, and crew. The role involves proactive support to the department, communication with leadership, and handling various daily office tasks.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Assist Post Production Coordinators and Supervisors with tasks, balancing multiple requests from within and outside the department
• Maintain awareness of work in progress, providing status updates and seeking feedback
• Set up, record, and transfer production sessions using lipstick cam
• Communicate with other departments to meet the needs of Post Production
• Coordinate meetings, book rooms, handle timecards, process shipments, and order office supplies
• Arrange travel and manage department moves, including editorial moves
• Support Dubroom JIRA tasks and ensure dub requests are completed
• Act as a secondary contact when Post Production Supervisors or Coordinators are unavailable
• Maintain professionalism with artists and production team
• Seek out hands-on training opportunities to enhance understanding of the department and pipeline
Qualifications:
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of discretion, as this position involves attending A-list recording sessions
• Willingness to work in Glendale, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in Feature Animation production or relevant internship
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
Salary Range:
$52,000 - $57,200 annually
