We're looking for a Tampa-based Content Lead to spearhead our distributed content team while also getting their hands dirty in content production. This role splits between leadership/management (60%) and content creation (40%). You'll bridge the gap between our elite baseball experts and our audience, transforming technical expertise into content that performs, educates, and extends Driveline's reach and influence. The right candidate will thrive in our performance-obsessed, data-driven culture while setting the bar for content excellence.
Primary Responsibilities
Content Leadership & Management (60%)
• Oversee Driveline's internal content service, in a way that efficiently maximizes the impact of our experts' knowledge
• Lead a distributed content team, currently made up of 2 in-house content producers and external contractors
• Own content project management, ensuring efficient workflows and processes that deliver consistent high-quality output
• Drive content quality standards and serve as the guardian of Driveline's brand voice across all platforms
• Partner with training floor experts to translate complex baseball concepts into compelling content
• Analyze performance data and apply insights to content strategy
• Champion innovation in our content approach, including strategic implementation of AI and emerging tools
• Collaborate with IT on content capture systems and technical infrastructure
Content Creation (40%)
• Provide content creation coverage for Driveline Tampa, producing high-impact content for Driveline's various platforms and channels
• Optimize, edit, and elevate content from our athletes and staff
• Develop scalable templates and frameworks that efficiently maintain our standards
• Apply Driveline's data-driven mindset to content creation decisions
Qualifications
Required
• 3 years creating multi-format content with demonstrated impact
• Experience leading content teams or creative productions
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and production equipment
• Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging content
• Collaborative mentality and excellent communication skills
• Passion for baseball and performance improvement
Preferred
• Experience leading distributed content teams
• Comfort with technical aspects of content systems
• Interest in leveraging AI and technology for content production
• Data-informed approach to content strategy
• Background connecting content performance to business outcomes
