Digital Designer (Contractor/Part-time)
About Us
Driveline Baseball is a data-driven baseball development organization that combines technology, biomechanics, and cutting-edge training methods to help athletes reach their potential. We're seeking a talented contract designer to help evolve our digital presence.
Position Overview
• Part-time/seasonal contract position

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with our internal team to create responsive web design elements
• Develop and refine assets that align with our brand identity
• Deliver concepts, prototypes, and final designs on a project-by-project basis
Required Skills
• Strong web design capabilities
• Experience with responsive design
• Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
• Understanding of current web design trends and best practices
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Sports industry experience is a plus
Design Challenge
To help us evaluate your fit with our aesthetic and capabilities, please complete the following design task:
• Review our current website (drivelinebaseball.com).
• Create mock-ups for one or all of the following:
• A redesigned hero section for our homepage
• An improved training menu / page experience
• A new ''Featured Athlete'' component that could be used across the site
• An optimized training page (pick any from the ''Training'' dropdown in the navbar for reference)
Your submissions should:
• Maintain brand consistency while proposing fresh approaches
• We appreciate clean, innovative design styles similar to brands like Eight Sleep and Apple. When proposing your redesign or mock-up, feel free to draw inspiration from the sleek, user-friendly interfaces these companies are known for.
• Consider both desktop and mobile experiences
• Include brief explanations of your design decisions
• Please provide a link to your final designs

• Please note that this is a part-time, project-based contract role, so we may request additional design samples or short interviews for finalists.
