Eclipse Law Corporation, an entertainment law firm representing high-profile writers, directors, actors, producers, and production companies, seeks remote interns to start in January and work until the end of May. Must be bright, professional, and energetic, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Duties include: reviewing and drafting agreements; conducting guild and other legal research; interfacing with clients, agencies, and management companies; assisting in document management; and so on. In addition to performing day-to-day tasks, interns will be assigned readings from a structured curriculum (which includes books, articles, and a wide variety of contracts) and expected to discuss them during periodic meetings with the supervising attorney. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the entertainment business, to build your resume, and to establish a professional network. School credit can be arranged (if permitted by your school).
This is a part-time internship (typically less than 10 hours a week).
