PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS A CONTRACT ASSIGNMENT THROUGH JANUARY 2013.
BASIC DESCRIPTION:
The purpose of the Business Change Director will involve leading the Digital Asset Management work stream of a broad, highly strategic transformation program.
TARGETED COMPETENCIES:
Change management lead for Works Hub, covering all aspects of stakeholder management, communications and training
Business process design. Guide, challenge and facilitate, in order to reach common global solutions and high level business processes Ensure the business vision and resultant processes are ''joined up'' with other work streams
''Product Owner'' for Works Hub - representing the interests of multiple stakeholder groups.
Act as a ''bridge'' into the Technology delivery organization
Deliver fresh thinking / innovative solutions by leveraging external perspectives, global thinking and quantifiable analysis
Business process redesign. Conducted high level modeling activities for significant change programs across multiple business functions
Change management. Create business readiness plans, taking into consideration IT deployment, data migration, capability deployment (training and engagement activities) and related business activities
Stakeholder management. Manage effective relationships with stakeholders drawn from studios, labels and production departments.
Program Management. Manage sizeable programs of work. Plan, direct, and co-ordinate activities to manage and implement interrelated projects from contract/proposal initiation to final operational stage
Benefits management. Ensure activities are undertaken with a clear vision of the business outcomes required. Provide continuous ownership to ensure the expected benefits are then delivered
REQUIREMENTS:
College degree or equivalent work experience, required
Transformation background. Demonstrable track record of combined business & technology transformation. At least 10 years experience.
Significant experience in one or more of the areas of focus: Media sector experience and/or Digital asset management experience (optional)
Studios experience (optional)
Business process design experience
Proficient in MS Office applications (especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Internet and familiarity with multi-media issues
Demonstrated experience functioning efficiently in an environment with multiple and shifting priorities and deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, confidently handling new tasks as they arise
Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and customers
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport
Strong organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow through
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make proactive recommendations and find/use resources
