EMPIRE is looking for music industry minded interns to assist our team in San Francisco. This is a paid internship program designed to provide students the opportunity to apply their skills and gain hands-on experience in the music industry.
Upon joining the program, EMPIRE interns are fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of their assigned department. They participate in strategic meetings, help solve key business issues, and offer ideas and perspectives to further EMPIRE's global success.
What you'll be doing:
You'll get a front row seat to the operations of some of our core departments: Marketing, A&R, Merch, Content, Digital & Creative, Publishing, and Distribution.
Your role as an Intern will be to support your chosen department across a number of client and internal projects - no busy work here!
You will be responsible for showing up every day of this internship ready to learn something new and grow your skill set.
Any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a College or University in the U.S.
Have access to housing and transportation in San Francisco Bay Area.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong passion for and knowledge of the music industry.
Leadership experience on or off campus.
A self-starter with a genuine curiosity for our business.
Able to commit to a 30-hour work week.
A ''no job too small'' attitude.
You're not afraid to ask questions and learn as you work.
Be a team player, open to feedback and strong communication.
