The Associate Producer II position supports graphics and content production for live sports events from school control rooms. This role will be part of ESPN's Non-Traditional Production Team, working on over 1,000 events annually, including NCAA, ACC, and SEC Championships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee graphics management during live sports events from school control rooms.
• Support producing, ISO producing, and associate directing roles during live events.
• Provide feedback on graphics for linear and digital school productions.
• Evaluate production and technical capabilities to ensure graphics meet ESPN standards.
• Collaborate with ESPN Sport Leaders and Graphic Managers to implement sport guidelines.
• Work closely with Producers to design and execute on-air graphics supporting event storylines.
• Use sports and graphics knowledge to develop content and concepts for assigned events.
• Coordinate production schedules, facilities, and contribute to storyline development for telecasts.
• Research sports information and provide materials for assigned remote telecasts.
• Track production schedules, budgets, and manage production tracking spreadsheets.
• Train and mentor Content Associates and Production Assistants in preparing elements for games, events, edits, or shoots.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in remote sports/event production.
• Proficiency with Ross Xpression graphics platform and live event production.
• Strong knowledge of sports and sports history.
• Ability to manage high-volume projects and collaborate across departments.
• Non-linear editing experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments with frequent changes.
Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
