We are looking for an experienced Recipe Developer to join the Food Network team. Based in New York City, the Recipe Developer will be responsible for creating original recipes in the Food Network brand style for our website, digital video department, television networks, Ad Sales Partners, and various social media platforms.

Your Role Accountabilities:
• Write well-researched original recipes in the Food Network brand style for our website, digital video department, television networks, Ad Sales Partners, and various social media platforms
• Daily duties include station set-up, recipe development, recipe writing, cross-testing, frequent brainstorming meetings with the editorial and advertorial teams, compiling team shopping lists, and station breakdown
• Collaborate with others to evaluate recipes for taste and brand suitability
• Supervise and train interns and freelance recipe testers as needed
• Develop recipe content for Food Network Magazine
• Work some corporate events in the Food Network Kitchen, including evening events
• Demo recipes on-camera for Food Network's various social media platforms
• This is an in-person position at our Test Kitchen in Manhattan, up to 5 days per week, with occasional remote work based on production schedules

Qualifications and Experience:
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience, plus two years of restaurant or catering experience, along with recipe development and test kitchen experience
• Ability to write, prepare, and evaluate recipes
• Knowledge of baking fundamentals and familiarity with a wide range of culinary styles
• Basic photography and computer skills
• Basic writing skills for enhanced headnotes and food-related articles

Salary Information:
Pay Range: $54,600.00 - $101,400.00 salary per year, with potential additional compensation including bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Warner Bros.
