Position Overview:
Fox News is looking for an experienced and talented Associate Producer to join Fox & Friends, the #1 National Cable Morning Show. The Associate Producer will be responsible for pitching unique stories and guests, conducting in-depth research, and writing scripts. This role requires strong knowledge of news, politics, and current events and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Core Responsibilities:
• Pitch unique guests, stories, and segments
• Conduct thorough research for stories and guests
• Write scripts, guest intros, teases, banners, and questions
• Select sound, video clips, and graphics to tell compelling stories
• Contribute additional responsibilities based on your unique talents and abilities
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of prior experience in TV production or similar field
• Strong knowledge and passion for news, politics, and current events
• Familiarity with popular influencers, commentators, and opinion-makers
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadlines
• Willingness to work weekends and overnight hours
• Creativity and ability to think outside the box
Compensation:
$61,000.00 - $79,500.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY
