Workplace Requirements: In-office, extended hours, overtime, and weekends as necessary

Position: Assistant, Programming and Development
Location: California
Description:
The Assistant, Programming and Development at FOX Entertainment supports the SVP, Drama Programming & Development, and VP, Comedy Programming & Development. This role requires strong organizational skills, multitasking, and effective communication. The Assistant will manage schedules, handle phone calls, coordinate travel, process expense reports, and provide administrative support across various tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests, answer and manage calls, maintain and coordinate executive calendars, manage appointments, and handle special projects.
• Manage multiple phone lines, collaborate with department assistants for coverage, and coordinate travel arrangements.
• Act as a liaison with internal departments and external contacts.
• Oversee a high volume of pitches and creative materials and contribute to evaluating show concepts and current FOX series.
• Create presentations/documents using PowerPoint and Keynote.
• Track current competitive shows, update supervisors on company projects/events, and provide back-up for other administrative assistants as needed.
• Support departmental projects and events.
Requirements:
• 1+ year of experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally in entertainment or agency/management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
• Team-player with ability to operate in a fast-paced setting, managing confidential information and interacting with high-level executives.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability for extended hours, overtime, and weekend work as production necessitates.
Nice to Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Compensation:
• Hourly Pay Range: $22.25 - $25.97 in California.
