Freelance Senior Video Editor - Fox News

Fox News is looking for a Freelance Senior Video Editor to join the team. As the Senior Freelance Video Editor, you will work with editorial and technical teams to ensure optimal video levels and lighting quality on air. This role is critical to the technical operations team and reports to the Technical Production Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Chip, color correct, and monitor video levels on studio cameras, video monitors, and remote cameras.
• Collaborate with directors, lighting, and make-up teams to troubleshoot and make adjustments for the best on-air presentation.
• Frame and monitor all remote Fox wire cameras as needed.
• Patch cameras to different in-house areas and build, change, and update scene files for shows as needed.

Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in video editing within live news or tape environments.
• Experience with Ikegami HD cameras and color correction units.
• Experience with SONY HD cameras and color correction units.
• 2+ years of experience with Vinton robotic camera operations.
• Flexibility with your schedule and the ability to stay late on short notice if news warrants.
• Experience with Lawo color correctors is a plus.

Compensation:
The pay range for this role is $39.42 - $45.00 per hour, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location. Freelancers are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, and applicable state-required time off after meeting eligibility criteria.
