Title: Senior Accountant
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will be involved with a variety of tasks with the Fox First Run finance team.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Assist the VP and the Director of Finance with a variety of accounting/finance tasks including but not limited to account reconciliations, invoicing, cash application
• Liaise with the production accounting teams on a weekly basis in order to prepare for the corporate accounting reporting requirements
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Prepare monthly/quarterly journal entries for the accounting close
• Monthly account reconciliations – including but not limited to corporate and production bank recs
• Maintenance of the cash & accounts receivables for Fox First Run
• Prepare monthly invoices for the distribution service
• Preparation of monthly intercompany transactions
• Application of cash for syndication payments received
• Help with the preparation of the annual budget
• Potential involvement with the production accounting team
• Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be able to work and function in a very fast-paced environment, working with production accounting teams as well as the corporate personnel of Fox First Run. The candidate must be willing to work long hours, be available to help on short notice, be available to meet in person on an as-needed basis (the position is considered hybrid).
Qualifications:
• Accounting degree is a must
• Between 2-4 years of work experience – Entertainment industry is preferred but not required
Compensation:
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $65,000.00-69,000.00 annually for California.

Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
