Gaumont is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Head of Production. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to get in on the ground floor of a growing independent studio and participate in television and film production from the studio side.
Responsibilities:
• Provide high-level administrative support including heavy phones and call logging, calendar management, and frequent coordination of meetings both internal & external.
• Arrange travel for Head of Production and other executives and show-level crew members as needed.
• Reconcile monthly expenses.
• Act as a liaison between production, creative, business affairs, accounting, and other departments.
• Act as a liaison between Gaumont and producers, production managers, and production coordinators while projects are shooting on location as well as during prep and writing phases.
• Oversee the upkeep and distribution of Gaumont production manuals and protocols to all show-level staff members and new hires.
• Manage internal file storage of production documents.
• Perform other general administrative duties as assigned or needed by the production department.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-year experience in TV or Film Production supporting an executive, and basic understanding of production work flow, required. On set experience a plus.
• Thorough understanding of all key production documents required, including crew deals, production manuals, one line schedule, day out of days, call sheets and production reports
• Microsoft Office including Excel proficiency required
• Experience with Scenechronize strongly preferred
• Experience with Final Draft and Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling preferred
• Ability to handle a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management skills with strong ability to multitask.
• Spanish and/or French speaker a plus
