Business and Legal Affairs Company Overview:

In 2010, Gaumont opened its American subsidiary, Gaumont USA, which is behind world-renowned and acclaimed TV series such as: Netflix's NARCOS, Apple TV Plus STILLWATER, Amazon Prime's EL PRESIDENTE, and Netflix's F IS FOR FAMILY.
Gaumont is seeking a Business and Legal Affairs Coordinator to provide day-to-day support to the Business and Legal Affairs Department. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a high volume of administrative related tasks and be able to work well within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
• Support the members of the Business and Legal Affairs department
• Handle all administrative tasks including but not limited to scheduling meetings, maintaining files, answering phones, expenses etc.
• Draft correspondences and emails
• Draft and redline development and production-related agreements including writer, producer, actor and director agreements
• Review talent and above-the-line crew agreements to determine likeness and credit rights and approvals
• Register creative works with the U.S. Copyright Office
• Proofread contracts and send agreements out for signature
• Maintain tracking spreadsheets
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor Degree required
• 1-3 years of law firm experience preferred
• Detail oriented and analytical
• Excellent written and verbal communication and Microsoft Office skills required
• Ability to maintain sensitive information confidential
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment
