About the Position
The Warriors Community Foundation is looking for a proactive and organized individual to develop programs and processes that support our growth. In this role, you will help ensure that Foundation initiatives are designed, implemented, and monitored to maximize impact and visibility. You will collaborate with colleagues across the Warriors organization to identify appropriate programmatic, fundraising, and grant making opportunities. This position reports to the Senior Director, Warriors Community Foundation.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate and manage annual grants program; maintain and manage relationships with large portfolio of nonprofit grantees
• Collaborate with Foundation Board and Directors on grant reviews and awards
• Lead the Foundation's tickets donation program; review and refine existing tracking system and provide day-to-day direction throughout the NBA season
• Manage the Making Hoops basketball court refurbishment program; conduct site research, project development, relationship management and event coordination
• Oversee gift processing efforts, including tax receipting and reporting
• Lead planning, development, and execution of Foundation's annual fundraising event, the Charity Poker Tournament
• Manage and support other special events including fundraisers, game night activations and other benefits
• Articulate and promote the mission and values of the Foundation to increase awareness and visibility within the community
• Research and stay informed about public education and grant making issues in the Bay Area; attend conferences, trainings and professional development as directed
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years in philanthropic/corporate social responsibility; experience managing community programming to meet strategic business objectives
• Knowledge of practices and trends in public education and youth development
• Passion for the Foundation's mission and corporate social responsibility in general
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and community
• Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills; ability to design and deliver effective and compelling presentations on fundraising, grant making and community partnerships
• Comfortable with problem solving and working independently and within teams
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a demanding and fast-paced work environment
Time Commitment
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation
• $67,000 - 71,000 Bonus
