Board Show Director (Part-Time)
About the Position
The Golden State Warriors are looking for a Board Show Director to lead the production crew in all elements of scoreboard production at Chase Center. In this role, you will deliver the vision of the Event Presentation team through the use of the arena centerhung, associated LEDs, and control room technology while leading all technical crew members responsible for game day video, audio, and LED display technology. We need a leader to take charge of approximately 20 technicians and ensure everyone is focused on creating the most engaging and impressive board show production in the NBA.

This is a part-time position represented by IATSE Local 119 and is based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
• Direct cameras, graphics, replays, audio and lighting for in-arena experience
• Tell the story of the game through camera angles, pertinent statistics, replays and other features
• Ensure all scheduled marketing, corporate partnership and game experience content is presented according to scripts and rundowns
• Develop new, creative show elements; find ways to improve on existing features
• Communicate with all crew members to ensure they are ready for every element of the production
• Partner with Manager, Scoreboard Operations to provide coaching and feedback to crew members as they grow their production skills
• Create a positive work environment where people are excited to contribute their skills and experience
• Other duties as assigned
Required Experience and Skills
• Minimum 3 years directing live sports broadcasts or scoreboard shows, specifically basketball
• Extensive knowledge of basketball, scoring, stats and officiating
• Experience leading a large group of production professionals, freelancers, and event-day personnel
• Strong background in control room production equipment including graphics, video switcher, replay and camera systems
• Acute attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication
Time Commitment
• Must be able to work majority of Warriors and Valkyries home games including nights, weekends, and holidays all throughout the year
• Ability to work other non-Warriors related events as needed
Compensation
• $82.40 Per Hour
