Position: 2010 GSN Fall Production Internship
Reporting to: Prize Coordinator
Location: Glendale, CA
Job Description:
We at GSN take pride in our Internship program designed to provide an excellent experience and opportunity for any student interested in learning in a hands-on environment.
All Interns will work closely with the designated department execs in establishing a basic understanding of department needs and functions. They will gain the necessary tools to better grasp the Entertainment and Corporate Industries by exposure to the creative concepts brought forth through various tasks and projects. They will help to organize departmental work flow and assist in projects & administrative work.
GSN Production is looking for two production interns to assist with production needs for a live show, GSN Live. Duties include working with producer and production team on preparing for live show. The production intern shall require attention to detail and problem solving as well as be able to provide and receive clear direction under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must.
Responsibilities:
• Assist prize department with mailings
• Assist producers with show needs on stage
• Assist production with prop and supply runs
• Be present during live shows and assist as needed
• Learn Master Control functions during live show, running tapes.
Successful interns will be professional, computer savvy, able to multi-task with efficiency and have basic office skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
This is an unpaid internship. All interns must provide proof of school credit to be considered for this position.
