Your Impact
Delish is seeking an energized and food-obsessed part time editorial assistant to join our team. This role works 20 hours per week to support our editors in a largely administrative capacity with some opportunity for editorial assignments. The main duties of the role include managing the editorial inbox, assisting with expenses, and pitching in to help the operations team. You'll also have the opportunity to pitch and write your own stories, assist with data projects, and other editorial projects as assigned. If you follow tons of food brands and creators on Instagram and love reading and writing about their work, then you'll love this job.

What You'll Do:
• Manage the editorial inbox, forwarding pitches and story ideas to their respective recipients on our team and responding as needed
• Input and manage timely entry of expenses for Editorial Director and other editors as needed
• Pitch, research, and write digital stories (news, SEO assignments, etc) as assigned
• Work with art, video, and social teams to create assets to support these stories
• Contribute to print as needed
Who you are:
• 1 years of professional or academic experience in project management or journalism
• A self-starter with strong writing skills and ideally some experience working in an editorial environment
• Excited about food content, and passionate about learning how food media works
• Able to work quickly and pivot nimbly
• Hyper organized
• Excited to help our team meet their goals
• Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
The rate of pay for this role is $20/hour. The actual rate of pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The rate of pay is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
