As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Hearst Magazines, you will act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by leveraging your expertise in talent strategy, market insights, and workforce planning. Your ability to combine recruiting expertise with a broad, generalist approach will be essential in identifying and hiring talent across editorial, creative, advertising, and corporate functions. Success in this role requires a proactive and collaborative mindset to ensure alignment with Hearst's goals, values, and culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Talent Strategy Partner: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and provide guidance on hiring strategies, market trends, and workforce planning.
• Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead all stages of the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding talent across multiple functions.
• Candidate Experience: Advocate for a positive and seamless candidate experience that reflects Hearst's values and commitment to excellence.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR, DEI, and leadership teams to align hiring practices with organizational priorities and values, while contributing to strategic projects such as internship program development and execution.
• Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to support immediate and future hiring needs, with an emphasis on fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Data-Driven Recruitment: Leverage metrics and analytics to evaluate and refine recruitment strategies and improve outcomes.
• Employer Branding: Work with HR and marketing teams to position Hearst Magazines as an employer of choice through compelling storytelling and outreach efforts.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks and projects as needed to meet evolving business objectives.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a focus on editorial and/or creative talent acquisition preferred.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the media, publishing, or creative industries is strongly preferred.
• Generalist Expertise: Demonstrated ability to recruit across multiple disciplines and roles.
• Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence across teams and levels.
• Diversity Focus: Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of talent acquisition.
• Technology Proficiency: Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools; knowledge of data-driven recruiting strategies is a plus.
• Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with OFCCP guidelines and compliance requirements is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex hiring challenges with creativity and agility.

Salary/Benefits
$70,000.00 - 80,000.00 per year
The base salary for this role is between $70,000 - $80,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
