What You'll Do:
• Be a true business partner – coach, consult, and support managers and employees across all levels
• Lead HR strategy & execution – from talent management to compensation planning and employee relations
• Drive performance & development – enhance training, succession planning, and leadership growth
• Champion company culture – foster engagement and collaboration across multiple locations
• Navigate complex HR challenges – apply expertise in California, Texas, and New York labor laws
• Manage critical HR processes – onboarding, offboarding, compliance, and continuous improvement
What Will it Take to be Successful:
• 7 years of HR generalist/business partner experience in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Strong background in employee relations, talent strategy, and organizational development
• A proven ability to build trust, influence leaders, and drive business results
Expertise in California, Texas, and New York employment laws
• Analytical expertise that turns data into meaningful solutions
High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a passion for people
• Bonus points for a Master's degree or SHRM/SPHR certification

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in California. The reasonable estimate is between $85,000 and $105,000 Please note this information is specific to those hired in San Francisco. A final decision on the successful candidate's starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
