WBAL, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Local News Producer who can create meaningful and memorable newscasts. The role involves working closely with reporters, anchors, and production teams to craft engaging broadcasts. A successful producer will have strong decision-making skills and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for owning breaking news coverage and ensuring accurate weather reporting.

Responsibilities:
• Select, research, and write content for live newscasts to create an engaging viewer experience.
• Guide reporters in story production and collaborate with anchors, meteorologists, photographers, and editors to execute creative vision.
• Booth live newscasts, manage breaking news and weather events, and ensure live timing accuracy.
• Coordinate multiple crews and responsibilities simultaneously.
