WBAL-TV 11, the NBC affiliate in Baltimore, MD., is searching for a highly skilled and creative Production Coordinator to oversee the efforts of Studio 11 which is the production arm of WBAL-TV 11. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of commercial projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and are delivered on time and within budget. Studio 11 specializes in crafting impactful advertising messages on all platforms for a diverse range of clients. We are passionate about storytelling and delivering powerful visuals that resonate with audiences. This role reports to the Creative Services Director.
Responsibilities
• Lead the production process for commercials, including pre-production, production, and post-production phases.
• Collaborate with valued clients and creative teams to develop project concepts and scripts.
• Develop, write, and produce innovative creative content that strengthens brand identity, enhances awareness, and drives engagement and action.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure project success.
• Maintain effective communication with account executives by sharing production schedules, managing assets, and identifying future production needs.
• Proactively recruit and secure local clients and projects, independent of production needs determined by sales or commercial scheduling.
• Ensure all deliverables while meeting client expectations and industry standards.
Requirements
• At least one year of experience in integrated marketing or commercial production is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects in an efficient manner.
• Proven ability to deliver high-level products quickly with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Outstanding knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects).
• A team player who collaborates effectively and is passionate about the evolving creative process.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as defined by employer.
• Equivalent military training from Defense Information School (DINFOS) and related military experience will be considered.
• In-person attendance is required.
