2025 WCVB Summer Internship Program

The 2025 WCVB Summer Internship Program offers a variety of opportunities for students entering or currently in their junior or senior years at an accredited community college, college, or university. The program runs for 10–12 weeks, requiring a commitment of 24 hours per week, with flexible scheduling depending on the department. This role reports to the Executive Producer. In-person attendance is required.

• A Letter of Recommendation from a professor specifically for the WCVB Internship Program.
• Creative Works/Writing Samples, relevant to your areas of interest.
• Intern applications are limited to one submission based on area of interest.
Chronicle
Chronicle is the LONGEST running, locally produced news magazine program in the country! Chronicle presents a mix of features on the people, places and stories of New England.
• Conduct research, including researching footage from old shows and news tapes, as well as via the Internet and phone calls.
• Update repeat shows for re-air.
• Archive nightly shows.
• Assist producers with logging video footage from shoots.
Note: There will be a mandatory intern orientation prior to your official first day of work.
