Position Title: Social Media Assistant
Location: Nashville, TN
The Opportunity:
The Home Edit is looking for a highly motivated Social Media Assistant to join the team in Nashville. This role is responsible for creating, editing, and managing content across The Home Edit’s social media channels, ensuring alignment with brand voice and objectives.
What You Will Do:
• Create and edit content using Premiere Pro for The Home Edit’s social media channels
• Contribute to the look and aesthetics of both organic and branded content
• Serve as a brand voice for The Home Edit channels, fostering audience engagement and loyalty
• Support the development and execution of social media strategy, campaigns, and tactical plans
• Write and edit post copy, ensuring all content aligns with The Home Edit’s guidelines and strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams to support initiatives, events, and tentpole moments
• Stay updated on emerging social media platforms, best practices, and industry trends
• Monitor relevant industry news and competitive landscape to expand The Home Edit's presence on social media
Requirements:
• Experience in digital video editing, specifically with Premiere Pro
• Content creation experience (personal, academic, or professional)
• Experience managing social media platforms
• Understanding of social media platforms, analytics, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation
• Knowledge of design tools and basic graphic design principles is a plus
