Role Summary:
The Production role at House of Blues is responsible for ensuring the success of show and event productions by performing the technical aspects related to production. The role includes assisting in stage setup, lighting operations, and maintaining equipment.
Essential Functions:
• Load-in of band and rental equipment, followed by setup and breakdown of event gear.
• Focus and adjust lighting to artist or event specifications.
• Operate and program lighting control boards and spotlights.
• Perform maintenance and repair of lighting equipment.
• Assist with A/V requirements for artists and events.
• Ensure the safe and consistent operation of lighting and stage equipment.
• Collaborate with artists' representatives to advance technical needs.
• Create and distribute lighting plot plans for events.
• Oversee lighting needs for special events.
• Assist audio crew with setting up stands, microphones, and cables.
• Support additional production needs for special events as required.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
• 3+ years of tour or stage production experience.
• Experience with stage lighting, pro audio systems, and basic video systems.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and extreme lighting changes (strobes and moving lights)
