Spring/Summer Intern - Film Festival

HollyShorts Film Festival - Intern + Film Reviewer
February 3rd - August 17th, 2025

We are looking for a small group of interns to assist with the programming and execution of the 21st Annual HollyShorts Film Festival, August 7th-17th. The HollyShorts Film Festival is a BAFTA- and Academy Award®-qualifying independent short film festival located in Hollywood, California. The team will need assistance with reviewing and rating the film submissions which will make up this year's festival program, as well as on-site activity during the ten-day festival in August (if available).

Applicants do not have to be LA-Based. For LA-based applicants, note that we will pay for on-site meals and parking during the festival.

What You'll Do:
• Watch and rate short film submissions on FilmFreeway
• Meet with the review team bi-monthly to discuss the most notable films which you recommend
• Data collection
• Industry & film-related research
• Ticketing / organize the attendees list (leading up to the festival)
• Set-up and break-down (on-site)
• Greet and assist filmmakers/attendees (on-site)
