The Photography Apprentice role will assist the Manager of Photography and the Team Photographer with business initiatives, games, and events throughout the term of the apprenticeship. The goal is to provide a space to learn from an experienced content group within the Marketing team and grow both technically and within the office space. Opportunities to work hands on with gameday duties, event coverage, and the archiving processes along with other initiatives throughout the year.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with the archive keywording process, photographing activations, community events, studio projects and game days.
• Fulfill game day needs including times before and after games.
• Live editing during games to transmit to necessary stakeholders.
• Participate in production shoots at Daikin Park and possibly off-site.
• Performing other duties assigned by the Content Director and Photography Manager as the position changes throughout the year.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• At least two years of college or applicable photography and editing experience, preferably within sports or event coverage.
• Experience within the Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Familiarity with PhotoShelter or another Digital Asset Management tool.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
• Baseball knowledge is required.
• Flexibility and willingness to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
• High level of demonstrated professionalism, integrity and decorum.
• Creative, energetic and proactive approach to work.
• Ability to anticipate and make recommendations based on the needs of manager and/or project
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Innovative and proactive thinker.
• Game day duties required.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment
This job operates in an office, clerical setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see and hear. The employee is required to sit for long periods of time, use hands/fingers to utilize various electronic platforms.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Rare travel maybe expected in this role.
