Content Partner Manager - Spanish Language Specialization
The rubber meets the road in this position, where you will be smack dab at the intersection of entertainment and technology with a particular focus on the Latino market. Hulu Content Partner Managers will understand and explain video formats and metadata specifications, while also able to create programming and promotional opportunities for a range of different media companies, Hulu’s content partners. The successful candidate must navigate between technical and content issues while creating and maintaining an efficient workflow of content delivery and publishing. Finally, a Partner Manager will dig deep into the metrics to determine what is working, what is not working and devise strategies to constantly improve performance. We prize people who get the big picture but are willing to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get a job done. This role demands strong business acumen, plus credible technology aptitude, and refined relationship savvy.
Responsibilities
• Build effective partnerships: Own and manage a set of partner relationships with the objective to maximize the value of those partnerships for both Hulu and the partners
• Help grow a scalable system: Assist with the development and enhancement of the partner management strategy, processes, and tools to ensure it scales to become more and more efficient for our partners and for Hulu
• Ability to navigate a variety of technical and content management systems
• Source great content that resonates with users
• Manage ongoing coordination within various groups at Hulu to ensure technical, promotional, business and programming alignment between Hulu and the partners
• Conduct reporting and data analysis to analyze partner performance
Qualifications
• 2-5 years of online media relationship management experience, or similar business development experience with significant technology focus
• Knowledge of and appreciation for the television and film businesses especially the Latino media industry
• Demonstrated excellence in business relationship-building skills
• Detailed knowledge of new web trends and technologies, and in building scalable processes and systems
• Thorough understanding of market research, data collection and analysis
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests concurrently
• Ability to problem solve and bring timely resolution to issues
• Fluency (both written and verbal) in Spanish required
Education
Bachelors Degree, MBA a plus (but not required)
