[Position Summary]
We are looking for an experienced Training & Development (T&D) Manager to manage various short- and long-term projects and help the trainees grow into HYBE AMERICA (formerly known as BIG HIT AMERICA) artists. The T&D Manager will serve as an advisor, coach, and advocate in helping our aspiring trainee to grow, lead and become HYBE AMERICA's next global artist. You will be responsible for coming up with a training & development, based on Kpop philosophies, but localized programs to fit the needs of US based trainees and the music industry. Ideally, you have strong operational and project management experience and background in education, youth development, or life coaching.

[Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities]
Create a localized training & development program for HYBE AMERICA trainees and a system for accountability and leadership growth
Deeply committed and passionate in youth development from mental health, education along with ensuring our trainees are participating in vocal, choreography and other various training activities
Work in close partnership with HYBE AMERICA business partners to determine overall talent and trainee management needs
Responsible for sourcing HYBE AMERICA T&D facilities based on program requirements and initiatives
Establish milestones for projects and analyze data to prevent any risks
Establish short- and long-term goals of the T&D team and set up relevant work processes
Collaborate with business partners to collect and analyze data/trends of the media/entertainment industry and provide insight to the management team
Communicate effectively with event organizers regarding potential areas of concern
Monitor each trainee's progress by employing evaluations and observations, followed by providing timely feedback and guidance to the trainees
Act as a resource to trainee's and their parents when advice and consult is needed
[Work Environment]
Some business travel may be required
May have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays due to responding to HQ in the South Korea time zone
Exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels
May work remotely to comply with safety regulations regarding COVID-19

[Qualifications - Required]
Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the related fields (coaching, education consulting, artist management, youth development etc.)
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays
Experience in management of long-term projects with external clients
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Must be passionate about Kpop and/or music
Ability to work well with others and collaborate across multiple arenas to achieve goals
Excellent project and time-management skills
Experience working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/G Suite and office management software
Must be patient with others and enthusiastic in youth development
Ability to work well with others and collaborate across multiple arenas to achieve goals
Must have individual and cultural sensitivity towards the trainees (and youth in general)
Flexible, self-starter, and extremely detail-oriented with the ability to interact with the creative community as well as all levels of HYBE staff
Ability to obtain a clear criminal background check
[Qualifications - Preferred/Optional]
Advanced degree in psychology, education, development preferred
Previous experience working in Music industry is strongly preferred
Fluency in other languages (e.g. Korean, Spanish, etc.)
