Coordinator, Music Investments Team

Iconic Artists Group is a music company that acquires interests in the music catalogs of iconic performers and songwriters, and works to preserve and grow the legacy of those artists. Iconic is home to some of the most important and acclaimed catalogs from The Beach Boys, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Nat King Cole and Linda Ronstadt, among others.

We are looking for a Coordinator to work with three executives on Iconic's Music Investments team. The executives on this team oversee sourcing, valuation and acquisition of music catalogs. In this role you will have exposure to both the business and legal aspects of music catalog acquisitions.

How You Will Contribute
• General administrative support to team executives
• Calendar and contact management
• Prepare meeting agendas and coordination of meetings internally and externally
• Process monthly expense reports
• Perform research for and track status of outreach to potential acquisitions
• Assist in preparation of pitch materials to Artists
• Prepare meeting agendas and coordination of meetings internally and externally
• Contract management
• Assist with music catalog acquisitions
• Special project coordination and implementation for Investments team
• Additional duties as assigned

Necessary Skills and Qualifications
• Passion for music
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Proficient using SalesForce
• Mindful of working in a space with confidential information
• Great social and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a business or legal setting
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Available to work outside of normal business hours from time to time

Preferred if you also…
• Have prior exposure to corporate legal practice and/or M&A in business or legal setting
• Have an interest in the business and legal aspects of music / entertainment
• Have a strong desire to learn about the music business and grow your career with a new business and entrepreneurial team

In the Office…
Our office is located in Westwood Village, Los Angeles, CA. Employees work in the office Monday through Thursday and from home Fridays.
