Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Production Accountant able to hit the ground running. This is a full-time position with room for growth. We are looking for someone to begin immediately.
Salary Range:
$27 - $32 Per hour (depending on experience)
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Monthly Bank / Credit Card Reconciliations, verify deposits, and address inquiries from banks.
• Reconcile cash disbursements to the Production team.
• Manage accounts receivable billing and collections.
• Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure expenses are allocated to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist Controller with quarterly and annual closing needs.
• Assist with 1099 prep and filing.
• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with a keen knowledge of Excel and Word software.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Premier Desktop Version.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, required.
• At least five years of related Commercial Production experience required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds for annual file storage.
Work Location:
In-person, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 6 pm.
May require overtime to accommodate Production and quarterly/annual closing needs.
