Production Accountant

This is a Full Time Job

Prestigious Commercial/ Music Video/ Film Production Company based in Los Angeles looking for an experienced Production Accountant able to hit the ground running.
Job duties may include but are not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank/ Credit Card Reconciliations, Petty Cash Reconciliation, Date Entry and Other Administrative Duties. This is a full-time position with room for growth. We are looking for someone to begin immediately.

Salary Range depending on experience $27 - $32 Per hour.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Monthly Bank / Credit Card Reconciliations, verify deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Reconcile cash disbursements to the Production team.
• Manage accounts receivable billing and collections.
• Verify and/or complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensure expenses are allocated to the appropriate accounts.
• Assist Controller with quarterly and Annual closing needs
• Assist with 1099 prep and filing.
• Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•
• Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with a keen knowledge of Excel and Word software.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Premier Desktop Version
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field, required.
• At least Five years of related Commercial Production experience required
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds for annual file storage.
• Work Location is in Person Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
• May require overtime to accommodate Production and quarterly/ annual closing needs
