Contracts Manager / Paralegal

Our Imagine Business & Legal Team is seeking a Contracts Manager / Paralegal to support Imagine's Film, Television, Kids + Family, and international teams. The Contracts Manager / Paralegal will be the operational hub of our busy department and will maintain various trackers, files and precedent charts and assist with agreements.

The ideal candidate enjoys both detailed work and designing efficient systems and workflows. Prior experience working in a legal and/or business affairs function is required, ideally within the media or entertainment space. We're looking for a team member who is proactive, loves learning and is extremely organized.

Job duties include but may not be limited to:
- Maintain various departmental and project trackers.
- Maintain shared files.
- Coordinate document execution and distribution.
- Draft correspondence and agreements under the supervision of the Business and Legal Affairs department.
- Work with finance team to support check requests and other payment related logistics.
- Assist with special projects, corporate work and other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of previous experience supporting a legal and/or business affairs function, preferably at an entertainment company, law firm and/or motion picture production company.
- Ability to exercise good judgment to appropriately discern when to escalate issues.
- Highly organized, efficient, and detailed oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word & Outlook) and Google Suite.
