This is a Full Time Job
This role is considered Onsite, which means the employee will work 100% onsite 5 days a week at a Company designated location.
This role coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Virtual Production Stage under the direction of Virtual Production Leadership. You will act as a primary department contact for all Production and Stage stakeholders, ensuring a high level of client service and a timely response to all requests.
What You'll Do
• Responsible for scheduling the Stage for internal production and external clients
• Coordinate Crewing needs for shoots and demos with Virtual Production Leadership
• Keep the Stage team and clients updated as schedules change
• Assist the Stage team in prioritizing work as needed
• Maintain high client service levels and integrity of the department; maintain daily and weekly communication with production and throughout the company
• Coordinate high visibility client demos and special presentations
• Actively communicate with the Content team and ensures Stage deliveries are met
• Assign content tasks to artists and ensures client notes are addressed
• Partner with VP Operations Coordinator and vendors for any required Stage maintenance
• Schedule client reviews and scouts as needed, and takes concise notes to relay to the Stage and content teams
• Set up, attend and publish notes on show kickoff meetings for the Virtual Production department
• Create and publish shoot schedule/call sheets as needed
• Work closely with Production and other departments to evaluate Virtual Production equipment & Stage needs and proactively coordinate available resources to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
• Create and maintain departmental documentation to report outward to the larger VP Production team
• Travel as needed to support location work when required
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Communications, or equivalent experience in a related field required
• Requires 3+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in visual effects or live action production
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of film production and post-production techniques and terminology required
• Strong client service and communication skills mandatory
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a discreet, diplomatic, and professional manner
• Must be detail and solution oriented
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Must have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, work within strict deadlines with diverse personalities
• Proven ability to provide innovative troubleshooting in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to effectively schedule projects and/or resources required
• Personal vehicle required for production related errands and/or location work
• Knowledge of Filemaker Pro preferred
• Proficient with Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles is $50,300 to $66,045 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
