Operations Coordinator – Insomniac Music Group, Los Angeles, CA
The Role:
Insomniac Events is hiring an Operations Coordinator for Insomniac Music Group to support label operations, royalty management, and artist coordination. This is an on-site position reporting to the Operations Manager and Director.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations across imprints, including A&R, distribution, and marketing coordination.
• Submit accounts receivable invoices for approval and allocate expenses.
• Handle royalty statements and sales data from various sources.
• Perform metadata entry and manage publishing and recording catalogs.
• Coordinate with the legal department on paperwork preparation and tracking.
• Assist in preparing and delivering label compilations and festival-focused mixes.
• Upload label content to platforms like SoundCloud and YouTube.
• Oversee new artist onboarding and release setups.
• Collaborate with pub and sync teams on initiatives.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager and Director.
Qualifications:
• Basic Requirements:
- 2+ years in the music label, radio, or entertainment industry.
- Passion for electronic dance music.
- Knowledge of music genres, label markets, and metadata tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Basecamp).
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Skills:
- Experience promoting offline events and music.
- Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, social platforms, and CMS.
Work Environment:
