Insomniac - Nocturnal Wonderland 2024 Seasonal Production Assistant
Job Summary:
Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Production Assistant to support the responsibilities of Insomniac's Back of House Department for Nocturnal Wonderland 2024. This position reports to the Back of House Manager and is not a remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Manager in developing, organizing, and executing various festival area operations
- Contribute to compiling advance documents related to several festival areas
- Act as a Vendor Liaison for all related areas of production
- Communicate production needs effectively to all contributing teams
- Support document organization related to all aspects of advancing, setup documents, and correspondence between vendors and production departments
- Assist in organizing advance documents related to the executive producer branch in the organizational chart
- Facilitate the advance of credential materials for all related vendors and staff involved with the projects
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Effective and concise communication skills in both electronic and verbal formats
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Experienced in event planning, management, and coordination
- Well-versed in communicating with multiple vendors and advancing event production needs
- Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Motivated with a "can-do" attitude
- Active problem solver with a sense of urgency for projects large and small
- Physical ability to continuously stand or walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Capable of working on slippery or uneven surfaces as needed

Compensation:
