IDPR is a dynamic, thriving tech PR firm looking for a full-time Account Executive to join its talented Los Angeles entertainment PR team. The Account Executive will be an integral member of the entertainment account team, providing media relations and client support on some of the agency's largest accounts.

In addition to fitting in with our culture of successful, tenacious, nice, dedicated, hardworking team players, the ideal candidate should have at least one year of media relations experience with proven success securing online, print and broadcast media coverage for clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the Account Director and Account Supervisors on daily media relations efforts

Develop creative, compelling and timely pitch angles for the media

Secure interviews and placements for Interdependence clients with the mainstream media

Serve as secondary client contact on accounts

Monitor the news for relevant stories to tie clients around

Track media coverage for clients

Assist in the preparation of plans and other documents

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.

At least one year of prior media relations experience, with proven success securing online, print and broadcast media coverage for clients

Proficient multi-tasker
