This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Social Media Marketing Internship
We are looking for 2 part-time interns for a 2 month unpaid internship (Students must be able to get school credit). This is an in-person Social Media Marketing Internship and the candidates must be based in NYC/able to commute to midtown, Manhattan.
This is a great opportunity for a student seeking experience in TV/entertainment/awards with an opportunity to learn about both creative and business aspects of events related to international television. Warm environment, highly skilled and encouraging team. Will work closely with Marketing and Communications department to learn detailed events process. Must be available to work in-person during the International Emmy® World Television Festival & International Emmy® Awards Gala (Nov 22 - 25, 2024.)

The Role:
Our ideal candidate is someone with:
- A background in marketing, communication or a related field
- Experience and a comfort level with social media tools and techniques
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills
- An ability to juggle several projects at once; a natural sense of urgency
Social Media Intern:
- Fabulous oral and written communication skills
- Experience in managing social media for live events
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, in particular of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter
- Working knowledge of social media analytics and implementation to engage an audience
- Experience with image/video editing software, Microsoft, Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator, Canva and/or content management systems (Sprout Social)
- Deep interest in global trends and awareness of cultural differences
- International mindset, i.e., you are multicultural/multilingual, having spent time studying and/or working abroad
Responsibilities:
- This internship is a 1 month commitment until the end of November.
- Create and edit short-form videos optimized for social platforms that will perform well on Facebook and Instagram Stories/Reels
- Help with creating social media calendars
- Help with creating social media content on the day of the events
- Help preparing captions for social media posts.
