Description:
This is a vital position in the Executive Suite at the world's largest LGBTQ global media networks. Revry is a small but mighty network in existence for only 6 years. The Communications Manager deals with securing local, national and international press placements for the Revry Brand, the Revry Networks, and Revry Content (including originals, movies, series, music videos, news and events). This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and in addition is in contact with Founders and all company Execs and Departmental Managers. This is a mission driven company, that believes in diversity from the top down inside the company, and in the content.
Tasks:
1. Engaging, Creating and Managing Press opportunities for Revry's Brand and the Revry Networks / Channels (i.e. OML on Revry Channel, Revry News Channel, LatinX Channel, Brazil Channel). Includes more National, Entertainment Trade and Tech focused Outlets. - B2B Outlets
2. Pitching and Placing Stories for Revry Originals and Special Programming (Movies, Series, Music Videos, etc.) Targeting Local, National and International Press across the board. - B2C Outlets
3. Pitching and Placing Monthly Program Calendar with Highlighted Content (including Seasonal Programming i.e. Hispanic Heritage Month, LGBT History Month, Black History Month, Pride, etc.)
4. Events - Includes Booking Founders on Panels at Key Conferences and Festivals. Also Promotion of Revry's annual QueerX festival, including Red Carpet at festival.
5. Advertising Sales Clients - As a network that works with advertisers, this position will work with Revry's Sales' department and outside Advertising Clients to supporting the press mandates for ad campaigns.
6. Track and Create reports, pull quotes and work with Meltwater to pull lists.

2. Can multi-task projects and timelines. Fluidly flexible with changes in plans, timelines, etc.

5. Coherent with Social Media
6. Excellent with Writing Press Releases
7. Has relationships with Outlets in Entertainment, Business and Tech.
8. A compelling communicator and writer.
9. Competent with Google Docs, Sheets, etc.
10. Can work on Slack and Mondays
