This is a Part Time Job

Hello! We produce a podcast called Songs You Know hosted by Toby Gad. Toby is a platinum, diamond award winning, grammy winning songwriter who has in depth conversations with other music industry greats that tell the behind-the-scenes stories of the Songs You Know.

We are looking for someone to edit 10 Podcast Reels per week. The pay would be per reel, preferably in a bundle. $500 for 10 reels. We need the content to be very engaging and snappy. Being comfortable, quick, and efficient with Adobe Premiere Pro is a requirement as our whole team edits with premiere and we like to be able to make changes seamlessly. We prefer someone that has a good grasp on social media trends/memes and can implement anything relevant into reels to make them more entertaining. This would not be a social media manager position but rather someone who can quickly edit great videos for our podcast short form content. Please submit if you feel like this could be you! :)

Responsibilities/Skills

Be able to turn a 30min-1.30hr+ edited podcast episode into multiple short form content pieces (typically at least 10 videos that are 30 seconds to 1 minute long)
Be able to identify within the full length episode what topics/segments are engaging, interesting, and worth a spotlight reel.
Be able to identify within a conversation topic the ''Hook'' (something to grab the audience's attention), the ''context'' (the meat of the story, the reason we are watching), and the ''Button'' (the ending phrase of the video that closes the chapter on what we just watched, sometimes this can be the ''Hook'' and the video will loop)
Good at receiving constructive criticism of their work and open to making changes to fit the producer's preferences.
